What I love most about CYF is that, apart from helping our students develop tech skills that are highly valuable in this sector, it also gives them and the volunteers a sense of belonging. Therefore, for me, CYF is about people, community and well-being.

Every day, every cohort is a new adventure, as we get to know the students on a personal level and learn stories about their struggles, hope, and resilience.

And this resilience is what motivates and inspires me to volunteer with CYF because despite the challenges life has thrown at them, our students are still motivated to turn their dreams into reality through persistence and hard work.

CYF allows our volunteers to get creative and put their ideas into practice. Even though we are a small charity that is mainly volunteer-run, I’m very proud of my colleagues. They work extremely hard and stay professional – to ensure that people get the most out of this course.

The most amazing thing is how fast we are spreading across the world, with new cities joining our CYF family, giving more and more people a chance to rebuild their lives.
