CodeYourFuture’s free programme is designed for adults exploring a career in tech. Your first step is Intro to Digital - covering practical skills like AI, coding, data analysis, and more, with 1:1 support from tech professionals and Saturday workshops in person.
The majority of CodeYourFuture graduates go on to secure tech jobs, in roles like software development, business analysis, and cloud engineering - at companies including Google, the BBC, Capgemini, and Slack. Every one of those careers started with Intro to Digital.
The next Intro to Digital course opens 1st June. Most trainees start in the first week or two - that gives you the most time to progress.

Completing Intro to Digital automatically progresses you onto CodeYourFuture’s more advanced programming training, where extra financial support unlocks: childcare costs, transport to in-person sessions, internet access at home, and a laptop loan when needed.
All CodeYourFuture courses are free. To take part, you’ll need to be over 18, on a low income, have intermediate English, and have access to a computer.

CodeYourFuture (CYF) is a nonprofit offering free tech training and job support to adults on a low income. If you’re curious about a career in tech, CodeYourFuture could be the right place for you.
The majority of CYF graduates secure tech jobs at companies such as Google, Slack, Capgemini, and the BBC - in roles including software development, cloud engineering, and business analysis.
Your first step into tech: the Intro to Digital course
The next free Intro to Digital course opens on 1st June. This course is designed as your first step into a tech career.
Most trainees start in the first week or two - that gives you the most time to progress.
No experience is needed to join. To take part, you’ll need to be over 18, on a low income, and have an intermediate level of English.
About the Intro to Digital course
- Intro to Digital covers practical tech skills - AI, data analysis, coding, and deploying websites, with 1:1 support from industry professionals.
- It’s an online course that takes someone without experience approximately 20–40 hours to complete, and requires access to a computer.
- CodeYourFuture recommends attending in-person or online workshops to get extra help and connect with the CYF community of trainees and trainers.
- Completing Intro to Digital automatically progresses you to the next stage of the CYF programme - Intro to Programming.
Extra support and registration info
All CYF courses are completely free, and CodeYourFuture supports you until you find a job in tech. From Intro to Programming onwards, CYF provides support for travel costs, childcare, internet access, and a laptop loan when needed.
CYF doesn’t offer formal certifications - the tech industry values demonstrated ability. CodeYourFuture helps you build the skills that get you through job interviews and into thriving careers.
