CodeYourFuture: Free training and support to get a job in tech:
CodeYourFuture (CYF) is a nonprofit organization offering free tech training and job support to adults on a low income. If you’re curious about a career in tech, CodeYourFuture could be the right place for you.
The majority of CodeYourFuture graduates successfully secure tech jobs. They work at leading companies like Google, Slack, Capgemini, and the BBC. Our graduates work in diverse tech roles, including software development, cloud engineering, and business analysis.
Your first step into tech: The Intro to Digital course
The next free Intro to Digital course opens on February 1st. This course is designed as your first step into a tech career.
- No experience is needed to join.
- You must be over 18, on a low income, and have an intermediate level of English.
About the Intro to Digital course:
Intro to Digital is an online course that takes approximately 20-40 hours to complete, and requires access to a computer. You can complete the course online, but, we recommended you attend in-person or online workshops.
In the workshops you can get valuable extra help and to connect with the CodeYourFuture community of trainees and trainers.
The Intro to Digital course features:
- Practical Tech skills training: Learn GenAI, data analysis, coding, and deploying websites.
- A supportive community: Get 1:1 support from industry professionals.
- In-person and online workshops: Meet the community and get the help you need.
Next steps & ongoing support:
Completing the Intro to Digital course grants you access to more advanced CodeYourFuture programming courses. All CYF courses are completely free, and we're committed to supporting you until you find a job in tech.
In most courses, CYF also provides support for travel costs, childcare, and internet access, and you can apply for a laptop loan.
